IcePORTAL integrates and can share data with Outlook. From your Microsoft Outlook Inbox, you can subscribe to a contacts list within IcePORTAL. This means a customer or employee contact list within IcePORTAL will always be up-to-date and synchronized to your Outlook software. You can also subscribe to events/calendars in IcePORTAL and have them shown within Outlook

arrow Individual users can choose to subscribe to one or more contact lists, customer lists, or employee directories in IcePORTAL and have this information synchronized into their Outlook/IceMAIL account.

IcePORTAL fully integrates with Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007. You can simply click on a document or spreadsheet within IcePORTAL and view or edit directly from Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

arrow Check-in a document while you are editing it and Microsoft Word will automatically prompt you to check the document back in with comments so other employees can see what you’ve changed.
arrow Save your documents from Office directly to IcePORTAL without having to open your web browser—use the IcePORTAL document libraries as if they were directories/hard drives on your computer.
arrow Manage discussion threads, tasks, and notes relating to a specific project or document directly from within Microsoft Word and Excel—this information is synchronized back to the IcePORTAL document workspace and viewable by other employees if you desire.
